This trail has an exciting new look and follows the footsteps of this little-known figure from our local history. The trail starts in Sherborne and ends at St Aldhelm's Head. You can find just one or do the whole trail! You can follow the trail by visiting the Geocaching website or by following the OS grid references and clues given below!
All About Aldhelm (Sherborne Abbey) – In the grounds of the abbey...it will take some gritty determination to find it!

St Aldhelm and Cuthburga (Wimborne Minster) – Within sight of the front door, you would go here if your horse needed a drink.

The Roman Pilgrim (Wareham Lady St Mary's Church) – Go through the gate to the left of the church door, stay on the path, look underneath the fifth large church window. Ignore the shiny metal chimney and check below the grill that keeps big church mice out!
